Hi, I’m Spoorthi.
I’m the person behind AIwithSpoorthi. AI changes every week, so I test the new models, tools and frameworks, tell you which ones are actually worth learning, and help you build real things with them.

Who writes this
My first degree is a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science. After it, I did a Master’s in Data Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. What actually moved me from data science into AI engineering was not a class, it was a conversation: I was deep in reading everything I could find on data science and machine learning when I started talking to Ryan, and he told me what he wanted to build. That conversation is the reason I am an AI engineer today, not a data scientist. Two years in, I have learned more than I bargained for.
By day I’m the founding AI engineer at Jackknife, working alongside Ryan on an AI advisor for homeowners: photograph a problem in your house, get a straight answer, and every fix becomes part of a verified home record that gets better over time. I own the technical side: the multi-agent workflows that turn photos into structured home data, the evals that keep them honest, and the backend that has to hold up when a real person does something nobody planned for. We’ve shipped Fix Flow; the Home Record is what I’m building now.
Alongside that I built Whoot.club, a tax-prep tool for Indian filers, and I take on a small number of automation projects for companies.
I like building things that are technically hard and still feel simple for the person using them. That is what I am trying to do here too.
Where the money comes from
Readers who pay for the membership, and the automation work I do for companies through Work with me. That is all of it. Nobody has invested in this site, nobody sponsors a post, and a tool cannot buy a kind review. If a piece is ever sponsored, it will say so at the top in letters you cannot miss.
And where I might be biased. I work at Jackknife. If a story ever touches what we do there, or a company we work with, I will say so in the piece rather than leaving you to find out.
